PITTSBURGH VOLLEYBALL CLUB

In the fall of 2009, area club directors and high school coaches came together to form Pittsburgh Volleyball Club.  The goal was to create a club which could host the top athletes in the region and compete at the regional and national levels.  The first year proved to be crucial to the development of the club.  PVC developed one of the top 18's team that the East Coast has ever sent to Nationals.  They finished 4th in the Open division at the 2010 BJNC in Austin, TX.  Seven members of that team went on to play at the division 1 level.  This created the foundation necessary to allow the club to grow and gain momentum in western PA amongst boys volleyball players.  

While the goal of the club is to put together the best teams at each age level to compete nationally the coaching staff and administration strive to train and develop all interested players in the region.  We are seeing growth in numbers of players training and teams competing on a yearly basis.
